Surviving a Pandemic

This video encapsulates why I am so passionate about capturing people's life stories. Here we are, facing a pandemic, and we need to check and anchor ourselves by understanding that others have been through even more difficult world events.

It is easy to forget how challenging life can be. It is pretty astounding to know that there are those who walk among us who have been through experiences that now seem unfathomable. Here's the thing, though, we can't get stuck in the dark parts. We must be reminded that we can survive things we never envisioned, and that we can go on to be happy and whole. This is how life works.
